On Friday, September 29th, Roosevelt held the first of several monthly Pathway Days. Students in the Manufacturing Pathway made "Spaghetti Towers" from plain uncooked spaghetti and Dots candy. The goal was to have the tallest free-standing tower. The winners, Jalen Swanborg and Tyrese Burks, built their tower to a height of 4' 10". Second place went to Tonita Barfield,Marcos Mauries and Cristian Martinez whose tower was 4' 2". All five students will receive lunch from Beef-A-Roo courtesy of Mr. Gallagher!!! |
